Starting at 8:00 in the morning, this Friday, May 3, it will take place the second round of the Professional Accordion competition within the framework of the 57th edition of the Vallenata Legend Festival. The 25 classified accordion players will perform the four airs of vallenato folklore: Paseo, Merengue, Puya and Son.
The 25 classified are: Javier Rodrigo Álvarez, Enaldo Barrera Tovar, Edgardo Bolaño Gnecco, Jaime Luis Castañeda Campillo, Camilo Andrés Montaña, the American Richard Enrique Daza, Jairo Andrés de la Ossa, José María González, Omar ‘El Zorro’ Hernández and Juan David ‘El Pollito’ Herrera.
In addition, Roberto Carlos ‘RK’ KammererArismalder Loperena, Camilo Molina Luna, Ramiro Munive Royero, Daniel Eduardo Paternina, Juan David Payares, Jairo Piza Carreño, Anselmo Quezada, Enderson Rada Maestre, Carlos Mario Ramirez, Ricardo Ramos, Nemer Yesid Tetay, Carlos Alberto Torres, Ronald Torres Salamanca and Jorge Alonso Vergel.

In the first round, seven competitors were disqualified, out of the 60 initially registered.after not responding to the 3 calls of the qualifying jury, thus failing to comply with the regulations.
In the Professional Accordion category, competitors from 17 departments of Colombia and three countries around the world registered. In the Plaza Alfonso López the spectators already have their favorites and this is evident every time the participants come out on the Francisco el Hombre stage to play the four airs of vallenato folklore. From the list of 25, the 15 accordion players who advance to the semifinals will emerge.
