At present, these organizations are not large in scale, but they may form a terrorist network that replaces Al-Qaida and the so-called Islamic State.
In addition, the Aid Church is concerned about the relationship between the Afghan regime, Pakistan, and the terrorist organizations that exist in Palestine and Syria’s Idlib province. The organization stated in an announcement that “in Afghanistan, fundamental human rights are threatened, including freedom of religion. It is not only the Taliban that poses a threat to it, but also the so-called ISIS branch of Khorasan Province (ISKP).” . Extremist organizations have been the protagonists in countless terrorist actions in the past, and they also created a bloody attack on the Sikh minority on March 25, 2020, resulting in 25 deaths and 15 injuries.
The Aid Church went on to say that “Khorasan Province” and other organizations continue to consolidate themselves, especially after the defeat of the so-called “Islamic State” in Syria and Iraq, and the opening of peace talks between the Taliban and NATO. Aid to the suffering church encourages the international community to speak out to defend the human rights of all citizens of Afghanistan, including Christians, Hindus, Baha’is and Buddhists. “The reintroduction of Sharia law will eliminate some hard-won freedoms, including very fragile freedom of religion,” putting people who do not agree with the Islamic ideas of the Taliban at risk, including moderate Sunnis. For the suffering churches, Shiites, small Christian groups, and all other religious minorities that have been severely threatened will suffer intolerable oppression.
