Allan Aal cites joint decisions in Náutico’s lineups and sees the group prepared to face a marathon of games

The coach reinforced that he does not like to save money and that the final say on whether to perform or not belongs to the athletes

Coach Allan Aal said, in his first press conference after debuting as coach of Náutico, that he didn’t like sparing players. And this has been confirmed, since Timbu has sent maximum force to the field in all the duels so far. Asked about the topic after the 1 x 0 victory against Petrolina, the commander reinforced his speech and also highlighted that the decisions to escalate are joint.

Allan Aal revealed that his word carries a lot of weight, but highlighted that he does not assemble the Náutico lineup without listening to the medical and physical physiology departments and, of course, listening to the athletes themselves, who have the final weight in saying whether or not they are in good condition. of game. The commander also cited the example of Rafael Vaz, who chose to play against Central even though it was suggested that he be spared.

“Obviously, the coach’s word carries a lot of weight, especially given the pressure we have on results. But our decision-making is very collective with the medical department, with physiology, with physical preparation and, mainly, with the athletes. We had a conversation with Rafael Vaz in the game against Central to provide some insurance, and he preferred to continue”, said Allan Aal.

“He said, ‘No, professor, I feel fine.’ And the last word will always belong to the athlete. We hope to have as many athletes available as possible. It is obvious that in some positions, due to wear and tear, the recovery may not be complete, but we are well served in practically all positions and can start or make a difference during the match, as we have been doing”, added the coach.

Allan Aal sees Náutico ready to “marathon”

Náutico’s calendar will increase from this Saturday, as the club will begin its journey in the Copa do Nordeste. The red-and-white commander, however, sees the team prepared and ready for the marathon of games.

“As I said from the beginning, I am not one to spare athletes and I think we are prepared to face a marathon of games, but at the same time we have to have the confidence to make decisions together, valuing the group, regardless of who starts and the match ends,” said Aal.

The coach also revealed that there is a whole alignment before climbing, as it not only involves the physical and technical part, but also the mental aspect. Therefore, according to the coach, it is essential that there is an exchange of ideas with the players.

“The preference is always for the sporting aspect, where the physical, technical, tactical and mental aspects come into play. There are players who take a little longer to recover from one game to another in terms of mental issues. We analyze and discuss all of this to make the best decision. and let’s do it again. This exchange of ideas with the athletes is the basis for us to choose the starting 11 for the whole year”, he concluded.

With the victory against Petrolina, Náutico reached 14 points and is leader of Pernambucano. To stay at the top, however, they will need to hope that Sport does not beat Flamengo de Arcoverde this Thursday.

Now, therefore, Timbu turns the key and focuses on the Copa do Nordeste, where it will face Botafogo-PB, this Saturday, in Aflitos, at 4pm.
