Friday informs NRK that Anne Lindmo (53) has decided to retire as talk show host after 12 years and 25 seasons.
– I have had enormous pleasure in creating a national campfire collection all these years, but everything has its time. It is both funnier and trickier to give up while the game is still very good, says Lindmo to the channel.
In other words, she is in her very last season as a talk show host, before the show is shut down.
According to editor Charlo Halvorsen in NRK Entertainment, it has not been clarified what will replace “Lindmo” on Friday evening.
– What a legend
Lindmo also shared the news himself in an Instagram post.
And sitting in the talk show host’s chair in prime time for twelve years has left its mark, because the reactions have not been long in coming.
“Good luck with the next chapter!”, writes NRK sports anchor Anne Rimmen (42) in the comments section.
“Excellent effort. Drive brush welding”, writes musician Ingrid Bjønhov (60).
“Queen!!!!!!”, comments artist Julie Bergan (29).
“What a legend. Thank you for everything,” writes comedian Jonis Josef (31).
Entertainment editor at NRK, Charlo Halvorsen, also thanks Lindmo after twelve years:
– I think we have a large audience with us when we thank Anne for a wonderful company through 25 seasons of “Lindmo”. She has had the valuable combination of solid generosity with her guests, a humorous heart and a very sharp head.
From pumps to hiking boots
However, Lindmo does not stay away from the screen. In the autumn, she replaces pumps with hiking boots in a new TV program on NRK.
What the new program will be about is currently unknown, but Lindmo reveals that the production of the new program will start already in the spring, and will premiere in the autumn

– My next TV project has already been in development for a while. Now I swap my pumps for hiking boots and take my conversation partners with me to the forest, says Lindmo.
The last broadcast of “Lindmo” will be on Friday 5 April.
