We want even more young and eager girls at Rosenborg Football after school and are creating a “girl’s day” on Thursdays.
Rosenborg Football after school (FES) is open Monday to Friday throughout the school year and applies to girls and boys from 2nd to 8th grade.
We at Rosenborg Skolen have a great desire to be able to create an offer that takes care of our participants’ sporting needs as well as their social needs.
For a long time we have had a large majority of boys who participate and for that reason also want to work actively to develop an offer that embraces more of the girls in Trondheim football, to help cultivate an even greater interest in women’s football in Trondheim and Rosenborg.
– In order to create a safer environment for girls who want to join us, we will create a “girl’s day” in the hope of avoiding girls being reluctant to participate for fear of having to be the only girl, says Jonas Rønning, responsible for Rosenborg Football after school.
If you want to sign up and want to train with other girls, we would therefore recommend signing up Thursdaysin the hope of creating a football party among young and up-and-coming football girls at SalMar Banen.
We emphasize that boys can also register on Thursdays, and that both girls and boys can register on all days.
– There are around 400 unique participants at Rosenborg FES who participate one or more days a week, but we have room for more, and especially girls! Rønning notes.
