Minister of Transportation Claims Collection Invoice for Parking Emtrasur Plane
The Minister of Transportation and president of Conviasa, Ramón Celestino Velásquez Araguayán, has spoken out against the collection invoice he received from Argentine authorities for one month of parking the Emtrasur plane. In a statement, Velásquez Araguayán accused the Argentine authorities of hijacking the EMTRASUR plane and violating international civil aviation regulations.
“Our pilots and crew were released, after it was proven that there was no evidence against them. They keep the plane illegally detained without reason and in the process, they send a collection notification for the month of parking in June 2022. Damn! Shameless!” Velásquez Araguayán expressed on his X account.
The amount reflected in the invoice sent to Venezuela by the Argentine Air Navigation Company (EANA) amounts to 7,066 dollars and must be paid within 5 business days of receipt. EANA is a Public Limited Company belonging to the Government of Argentina and is in charge of providing air navigation services in the Argentine Republic and its jurisdictional waters.
