Argentina appeared dominant even though he was left behind first Costa Rica. The Albiceleste succeed comeback to win 3-1.
Argentina played a test match against Costa Rica at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, Wednesday (27/3/2024) morning WIB. Lionel Scaloni’s troops immediately dominated after kick-off.
Angel Di Maria’s attempt in the fourth minute was saved by the goalkeeper. Alejandro Garnacho’s efforts also failed to produce results in the 21st minute.

Continuing to press, Argentina conceded in the 34th minute. From the counter-attack, Costa Rica took the lead through Manfred Ugalde’s kick. Score 1-0 for Costa Rica’s advantage lasted until halftime.
Argentina continued their pressure after the restart. Fernandez’s chance in the 51st minute was denied by Keylor Navas.
Argentina equalized the score a minute later. Di Maria’s free kick went into the top right corner of the goal.
GOAL! Argentina took a 2-1 lead in the 56th minute. Nicolas Tagliafico’s header from the corner hit the crossbar, then was struck by Alexis Mac Allister from close range.
Argentina widened their lead in the 77th minute. Lautaro Martinez’s kick from the right side in the penalty box changed the score to 3-1.
Rodrigo De Paul’s attempt in the 86th minute headed towards the goal. But the goalkeeper could stop it. The score does not change until the match is over.
