Arlebosc: beautiful hikes proposed for Ascension

More than 300 hikers are expected on Ascension Thursday on the trails around the village of Arlebosc.

Gray days, wind and cold weather do not stop the Arlebosc festival committee. A “daffodil” outing on Sunday April 21 launched the season, with a restaurant in Devesset followed by picking the yellow flowers which, up there, dot the fields. Then, the volunteers of the festival committee worked to develop the hike which, every year for 12 years, brings together more than 300 people on Ascension Thursday on the trails around the village.

Three circuits among the brooms in bloom

It will take place on Thursday May 9 amidst the flowering broom and the lush green of the meadows. Three circuits will be marked: 7.5 km, 11.5 km and a final one of 20 km which, with a difference in altitude of 400 m, is reserved for the most experienced. This year, there will be a bonus competition for children.

Registration and departure from 8 a.m. at the village hall. Refueling is provided at this time and there will be water on the course. On returning to the village hall, an Ardèche plate will be enjoyed in the garden.

Price: €10, €5 for children under 10 years old.

Information: 06 77 24 62 84.
