With 100% success in Series C of the Brazilian Championship, Athletic-MG thrashed CSA, this Sunday, 5-0, and isolated themselves in the lead. Botafogo-PB beat Volta Redonda-RJ 3-1 and came second. Ferroviária-SP beat Náutico 2-1.
At the Rei Pelé Stadium, in Maceió (AL), Athletic-MG took another hostage in the competition. The Minas Gerais team ran over its opponent. The top scorers of the match were Welinton Torrão, Jonathas (twice) and David Braga (who also found the net on two occasions).
The Minas Gerais team reached 12 points. Botafogo-PB comes in second place, with ten, followed by Tombense (9) and Ferroviária (8). CSA, in turn, continues without winning, in 12th place, with two.
At the Raulino de Oliveira stadium, Botafogo-PB beat Volta Redonda 3-1. Pipico and Edmundo, twice, scored for the team from Paraíba. Italo discounted it. With the defeat, the team from Rio ended up in eighth, with six points.
In Araraquara (SP), Ferroviária beat Náutico 2-1 at Arena da Fonte Luminosa. Juninho and Pedro Paulo scored for the São Paulo team, the latter in the 52nd minute of the complementary stage. Thalissinho did it for the Pernambuco team, who appear in tenth, with four.
Remo beat Floresta-CE 1-0, at Baenão, with a goal scored by Ytalo, in the 43rd minute of the second half. The team from Pará won its first points and rose to 13th place, with three. The team from Ceará has not yet scored and is in the last place.
