It’s Lorenzo Sonego’s day at the Masters 1000 in Miami, live on Sky Sport e in streaming su NOW. The only Italian currently involved in Florida, the Turin native will make his debut against the British Daniel Evans, n. 43 in the world rankings. It will be déjà vu for Sonego who beat the Englishman last year in Miami in the 2nd round match, in a match that lasted 2 hours and 30 minutes. The record in the previous matches is 3-0 for the blue: the last match dates back to two months ago at the Australian Open, won in four sets by Lorenzo. Sonego seeks continuity in a 2024 season of ups and downs so far, where he has never won two consecutive matches. Three defeats in a row, however, for Evans who hasn’t won for a month (last victory on his debut in Los Cabos against Safiullin on February 20th).
