Austin Butler has joined the cast of ‘Caught Stealing’.
The 32-year-old actor, who starred in ‘Masters of the Air’, is set to team up with ‘Black Swan’ filmmaker Darren Aronofsky for Sony Pictures’ new crime thriller, based on author Charlie Huston’s book of the same name.

Darren told Deadline in an interview: “I’m excited to be working with my old friends at Sony Pictures to bring Charlie’s adrenaline-pumping rollercoaster ride to life. I can’t wait to work with Austin and my family of New York City (NYC) filmmakers.” The upcoming project’s plot revolves around former baseball player Hank Thompson, who unknowingly faces a struggle for survival in NYC’s criminal underworld . Sanford Panitch, President of Sony Pictures’ Motion Picture Group, said in a statement: “Darren is one of the world‘s most brilliant audiovisual storytellers and adapting these wonderful books by Charlie Huston for Austin to star in was too exciting an opportunity not to.” Austin can currently be seen playing the villain Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen in the critically acclaimed ‘Dune: Part Two’ film. The actor revealed that he didn’t delve as deeply into the character as he did when he starred in ‘Elvis.’
