According to the Austrian media, Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz is about to resign. The leader of the OVP, suspected of corruption, should speak shortly. Accused of using public money to commission favorable polls, Kurz will most likely be replaced by Foreign Minister Alexander Schallenberg, writes Der Standard’s Thomas Mayer on Twitter. The coalition between the conservatives of the Ovp, Kurz’s party, and the Greens will continue to govern.
