“Ouveo” is a song entirely in Galician that combines the heavy and rock style of Bala with the magical voices of tanjugueiras. The result is a ritual song that introduces us to both bands in a tremendously exciting record.
This new song is part of “The best”, Bala’s next album that will be released on April 26. The band itself defines the album as a twelve-song manifesto that aims to denounce and shed light in equal measure in the midst of a turbulent time, marked by “polarization and anxiolytics.” The Galicians have also stated about the work: “It is an album full of references to styles and different sounds that revolves around hot topics such as job insecurity, consumerism, environmental problems, the defense of animals or the importance of care (and self-care) networks”.
