BBDC4, ITUB4 and CIEL3 return the Stock Exchange to 130 thousand; only 5 assets fall

On a busy day, the Ibovespa starts the session up 0.91%, at 128,748.82 points, the daily high. Highlight is the rise in Natura (NTCO3), which leads Ibov’s gains, with +5%, following the announcement of Avon’s spin-off evaluation. Bradesco’s shares (BBDC4) are the second biggest increase of the day, with +3.3%, followed by Cielo ([ativo=CIEL6]), with +3%, amid the OPA proposal made to delist Cielo on the stock exchange. It’s a positive day today at Ibov, with only 8 assets falling at the moment. Highlight for increases in retailers, large banks, Petrobras (PETR4) and Vale (VALE3). Today’s repercussions fall on the minutes of the last Copom meeting, which cut the Selic rate by 50 basis points last week. The draft signaled that the committee sees signs of attenuation of the slowdown in activity in the country. Already Roberto Campos Neto, president of the BC, and Fernando Haddad, Minister of Finance, are participating in an event in São Paulo now. On the corporate front, after Itaú and Cielo reported results the day before, it’s Tim’s turn (TIMS3) release its fourth quarter numbers after the close. Itaú shares rise 0.87%. On Wall Street, U.S. index futures are lower after a sell-off spurred by a rise in bond yields and concerns that the Fed may not cut rates at the pace expected by Wall Street. (Felipe Alves)
