WATCH HIGHLIGHTS FROM ALL MATCHES:
Three weeks ago, Marco Silva and Fulham left Old Trafford after giving Manchester United a solid scratch in the hunt for a ticket to the Champions League next season.
On Saturday, the whites once again flexed their muscles against a big team, and at home at Craven Cottage, Fulham won 3-0 against United’s Champions League-chasing rival Tottenham.
Rodrigo Muniz put the hosts in front minutes before the break, before Sasa Lukic doubled the lead shortly after the change of sides in London. After just over an hour, Muniz scored once again, and Fulham led 3-0.
On Sunday afternoon, Aston Villa visited the London Stadium, but away to West Ham only got one point.
Manchester United thus have nine points up on Villa in 4th place (with one less game played), while the distance to Tottenham is six points (with the same number of games played).
