As expected, the run for tickets for the Gottéron playoff games is huge. Within a few seconds, all tickets for the first two quarter-final home games against Lugano were sold on the various digital platforms. “The contingent of 300 tickets per game that were sold at the club’s counters in the ice rink also found buyers in less than two hours,” the club wrote in a media release. “The club is happy that everyone who wanted to buy a ticket in the ice rink on Tuesday afternoon was able to be served.”
There had previously been confusion in the processing of online ticket sales. “As of 12:30 p.m., almost 300,000 requests for tickets were made in the club’s online shop. As a result, the system operated by external service providers and used by the club was overloaded,” writes the club. “The association apologizes for the various inconveniences and is trying to find solutions together with the partners.”
