BLACKPINK’s Lisa is certain to debut on the small screen by starring in a series The White Lotus third season. She will use the name Lalisa Manobal in the credits of the TV series.
However, the role and name of the character that Lisa will play is not yet known.

Based on official information received CNNIndonesia.com on Tuesday (13/2), the filming process for the third season of The White Lotus will take place in Thailand, Lisa’s home country.
Filming will take place in and around Koh Samui, Phuket and Bangkok. The series is also said to be starting the filming process this February.
HBO as the TV channel and production house of The White Lotus has collaborated with the Tourism Authority of Thailand to support the filming and promotion of the third season of the series.

BLACKPINK’s Lisa joins the ranks of other main cast members announced in The White Lotus. Some of them, Leslie Bibb, Carrie Coon, Francesca Corney, Nicholas Duvernay, Arnas Fedaravičius, and Christian Friedel.
Additionally, Scott Glenn, Walton Goggins, Dom Hetrakul, Sarah Catherine Hook, Jason Isaacs, Julian Kostov, Michelle Monaghan, Sam Nivola, Morgana O’Reilly, Lek Patravadi, Shalini Peiris, Parker Posey, Natasha Rothwell, and Patrick Schwarzenegger also participated enliven the series.
Mike White is the director, creator and writer for The White Lotus season three. He also executive produces the series with David Bernad and Mark Kamine.
Lalisa Manabol or Lisa is one of the four members of the South Korean girl group, BLACKPINK.
Throughout her career as an idol, Lisa has only been a guest star on TV shows a few times. Namely, Charm TV (2017), Real Man 300 (2018), as well as Youth With You 2 (2020) and Youth With You 3 (2021).
So, this is the first time Lisa has shown her acting talent on the small screen in a TV series through The White Lotus season three.
The White Lotus itself is a series created and broadcast by HBO, whose first season aired in July 2021.
The first season of the series was nominated for 20 Emmy Awards and won 10 trophies, one of which was Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series.
Then, The White Lotus continued into the second season which will air in December 2022. The second season was nominated for 23 Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Drama Series.
