Bolsonaro and Michelle arrive at Paulista

Former president Jair Bolsonaro arrived at the event taking place on Avenida Paulista this Sunday (25). He is accompanied by the former first lady Michelle Bolsonaro, the governor of São Paulo, Tarcísio de Freitas and the mayor of the capital of São Paulo, Ricardo Nunes. The expectation is that everyone will make statements.

The former president’s supporters are concentrated near Masp. Many arrived in the morning. The act was scheduled to start at 3 pm.

The electric trio that will house Bolsonaro and his allies is positioned on the corner of Avenida Paulista and Rua Peixoto Gomide.

The entire region is blocked for car access and a strong security scheme has been set up.

Jair Bolsonaro arrived in São Paulo this Saturday (24) and slept at Palácio dos Bandeirantes, headquarters of the São Paulo government.

Tarcísio de Freitas was the first to confirm his participation in this Sunday’s event and usually hosts the former president in the residential wing of Palácio dos Bandeirantes.

The act was called by the former president himself, via social media.

The idea, according to organizers of the event, is to refute accusations that the former president had participated in a coup d’état plan and extol the democratic rule of law.

Pastor Silas Malafaia, from the Assembly of God Vitória em Cristo, rented two electric trios for Bolsonaro and other political figures to speak and follow the event.
The event is expected to last two hours, from 3pm to 5pm.

The former president’s lawyer, Fábio Wajngarten, said he expected around 700,000 people on the Avenida in the capital of São Paulo.

At the National Congress, deputy Sóstenes Cavalcante (PL-RJ), was responsible for distributing around 170 bracelets to those who will be on top of the trios.
“As not everyone can fit in Bolsonaro’s truck, bracelets are being distributed in advance,” Malafaia told CNN
