Borneo FC Samarinda won full points when they hosted Persija Jakarta in continuation Liga 1. Borneo FC won 3-1 to solidify its position at the top of the standings.
The Borneo FC vs Persija match in the continuation of League 1 was held at the Batakan Stadium, Balikpapan, Tuesday (6/2/2024) evening WIB. Borneo was leading 1-0 at halftime.

Borneo scored its third goal in this match in the 82nd minute. This time it was Komang Teguh who got his name on the scoreboard after breaking through Persija’s goal with a header, after taking advantage of a corner kick from Lilipaly.
Persija reduced the deficit in injury time in the 90+2 minute. Gustavo took advantage of Ryo Matsumura’s through ball to break through Borneo’s goal.
Thanks to this victory, Borneo FC is increasingly comfortable at the top of the League 1 standings with 54 points from 24 matches. Meanwhile Persija is in ninth position with 32 points.
