Bosnia, the international High Commissioner: “Denying the Srebrenica genocide will be a criminal offense”

The High Representative of the international community in Bosnia, Valentin Inzko, has ruled that the denial of the Srebrenica genocide will be prohibited under Bosnian criminal law. The outgoing High Representative, the Austrian Inzko, has imposed these changes to the legislation of the Balkan country in an attempt to counter the attempts of the Serbian-Bosnians to deny that in Srebrenica in July 1995 there was a genocide, as also recognized by the International Court of justice.
