The checkered squad will play its first match of the year in La Independencia, where it will collide with Junior after having slipped in the Apertura debut. They ended up defeated 2-1 on their visit to Once Caldas, a match in which their rival ended up playing with nine men.

This match in Tunja, corresponding to the second day, will mark the reunion of coach Miguel Caneo with the fans who enjoyed him in his time as a player and will now see him on the bench and challenging the current champion.
