Brexit, truce of the “sausage war”: three month extension on Northern Ireland

LONDON. There is a truce in the so-called “sausage war”, yet another chapter of Brexit. The European Union has accepted London’s request for an extension to suspend controls on meat traveling from Great Britain to Northern Ireland. That is, within the UK itself that Brexit accepted – and then reneged on – by the British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has practically split, at least at the customs level.
