Bola.net – Calvin Verdonk is reportedly on his way to Indonesia to take care of the naturalization process. This rumor emerged from his older brother, Darryl Verdonk.
The name Calvin Verdonk was previously widely discussed by fans of the Indonesian National Team after admitting he was interested in defending the Garuda Team some time ago.
“To be honest, we are in that process (naturalization) now. So, now we are waiting to see how the process goes,” said Verdonk in a conversation on Yussa Nugraha’s YouTube channel.
“When all the processes have been completed, we will see when I can play for the Indonesian national team. But, now everything is still being taken care of,” continued the player who once defended Feyenoord.
And recently, it was reported that Calvin Verdonk was on his way to Indonesia.

Rumors that Calvin Verdonk was heading to Indonesia came from the Instagram story upload of his older brother, Darryl Verdonk.
In his upload, Darryl shared a photo showing himself on the plane and inserted the words “off to Indonesia”. This code is considered by netizens to be the code for Verdonk to undergo a naturalization process

Calvin Verdonk Football Career
Verdonk is a player of descent, aka diaspora, who was born in Dordrecht. An original product of the Feyenoord academy, Verdonk has been in the Feyenoord first team since 2015.
Later, Verdonk also played for a number of other clubs, from PEC Zwolle, Twente, to Portuguese club Famalicao and is now in the NEC squad.
At international level, Verdonk, who is now 26 years old, is a regular for the Dutch national team at all age levels. In 2014, Verdonk was in the spotlight after scoring a beautiful goal at the U-17 European Cup.

Calvin Verdonk’s Indonesian blood
It was revealed that Calvin Verdonk has Indonesian lineage from his father who is known to have come from Tanjung Meulaboh, West Aceh.
“My father is from Indonesia. He has full status as an Indonesian citizen, because he was born there too,” said Calvin Verdonk in a talk session on the Yussa Nugraha YouTube channel.
