The special “Fernanda & Nathalia: Friends of a Lifetime” premieres on Saturday, July 29 at 4:15 pm on the Viva channel. With a duration of 90 minutes, Fernanda Montenegro and Nathalia Timberg remember the first work they saw of each other until they met on stage for the first time in the 1950s, in theater and television.

“We’ve always had a chain that unites us and that sometimes doesn’t happen. You can be very well with your colleague, love your colleague, have a life in common, but there are actors that we look at and we form a spatial unit, a human unit, a harmony”, says Fernanda Montenegro about her relationship with Nathalia.

Throughout the program, the two play, agree and disagree about certain jobs, in addition to sharing some behind-the-scenes stories. Among the topics addressed are: competition, motherhood and interpretive techniques. All subjects permeated by the friendship of 70 years between the two, going through different historical moments.

From a twinning of goals, beliefs, effort, appreciation and self-justification, because, suddenly, I see projected in you something similar to what moves and moves me. The mark that comes from your trajectory is important and I thank you for that vision, that reason why we are still here talking and sharing our memories”, says Nathalia Timberg to her friend.

Directed by Hermes Frederico and produced by Hergus, the project also features testimonials from artists and authors such as Thiago Fragoso, Walcyr Carrasco and Silvio de Abreu.
