CEVA LOGISTICS / Transport Logistic 2023: plan to increase the fleet of electric vehicles announced – Companies

CEVA Logistics announced, four days ago and during the Transport Logistic 2023 fair, held in Munich, the concrete possibility of increasing its fleet of electric vehicles (EV) to 1,450 units by the end of 2025. An important step or step, crowning an intense commitment to achieve net zero CO2 emissions by 2050.

The main commitment to sustainability, in short, translates into a fleet consisting of 1,000 delivery vans, 300 trucks, 150 tractors employed for last mile pick-up and delivery operations, as well as for special projects. The expanded electric vehicle fleet would reduce the company’s CO2 emissions by approximately 67,000 tons annually; calculations in hand, this estimate would be equivalent to 30,000 round trips from Paris to Munich.
