During the last transport logistics fair held in Munich, CFL cargo and Bertani Trasporti successfully concluded a partnership agreement (in the photo, the protagonists of this agreement) for a new rail connection with two weekly trips of A/ R from the Port of Gliwice to Marckolsheim, covering a distance of more than 1300 km.
The new cross-border train, with a carrying capacity of 19 wagons, will efficiently connect the Polish and French rail corridors via Germany and also facilitate a modal shift, thus transferring the carrying capacity of more than 2,300 trucks from road to rail. for a reduction of C02 emissions of up to 10,200 tons per year. Rail traction is provided by CFL cargo in Germany and France, in cooperation with DB Cargo Polska taking over in Poland.
