The games of the 2nd phase of the Copa do Brasil ended last night, Thursday, 14th, and twenty clubs, including Corinthians, Fortaleza, Criciúma, Águia de Marabá, Botafogo-SP and Amazonas are classified for the 3rd phase of the tournament.
These join Internacional, Vasco, Bahia, Atlético-GO, Cuiabá, Juventude, Sport, CRB, Operário, Brusque, Sampaio Corrêa, Ypiranga-RS, América-RN and Sousa-PB, who had already secured participation in the next stage of the competition.
Now, the twenty clubs that survived the first two phases of the competition join the teams arriving from the Libertadores, including Palmeiras, Flamengo, Atlético-MG, Grêmio, Botafogo, Bragantino, Fluminense and São Paulo.
In addition to these, Athletico-PR (via Brasileirão last year), Ceará (champion of the Copa do Nordeste), Goiás (champion of the Copa Verde) and Vitória (champion of Series B) are also part of this phase of the competition.

The next phase of the Copa do Brasil will feature round-trip matches.
The clashes and field matches will be decided through a draw organized by the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF).
The date of the draw has yet to be confirmed.
The 32 teams will be divided into two pots, taking into account the position of each one in the National Club Ranking.

Each team from one pot will face a team from the other pot.
The dates reserved for the third phase of the Copa do Brasil are the 1st and 22nd of May.

Clubs that reach the third phase of the Copa do Brazil 2024 will receive the same participation quota, regardless of the division they belong to.
Qualifying for the round of 16 guarantees a prize pool of R$3.465 million for each club.
