Eighteen boys, between the ages of 7 and 16, lost their lives and another 16 people were injured following the fire that broke out in a martial arts school in central China. Local authorities announced it. The head of the facility, located in Henan province, was arrested. According to local media reports, most of the victims are school pupils.
According to local media, the fire broke out at night, when 34 residents were present on the first floor of the building. The injured, including four in serious condition, were taken to hospital where a doctor assured them that “everything is being done” to save them.
