China, new video and photos of Peng Shuai: present at the youth tournament in Beijing

The photos were posted on the official event page on WeChat by the tournament organizers, the same as the China Open. The video, on the other hand, was posted on Twitter by Hu Xijin, editor-in-chief of the Global Times (“State affiliate media).

In the video Peng, blue jacket and white sports trousers, “guest” of the Fila Kids Junior Tennis Challenger, is presented to the public and takes a step forward to garner the applause. Peng has not appeared in public since the beginning of November, after he revealed he was sexually abused by former Deputy Prime Minister Zhang Gaoli.
