Coach Xavi is leaving FC Barcelona at the end of the season

A club legend as a player, but probably not as a coach: Xavi Hernandez is leaving FC Barcelona at the end of the season. “I would like to announce that I will no longer be Barca coach after June 30,” Xavi said in a statement. “I think the situation needs a change of course. As a Culer (Barcelona supporter), I cannot allow this situation to continue.”
FC Barcelona is currently in third place in Spain, 10 points behind leaders Real Madrid. On Saturday the Catalans lost 3-5 against Villarreal. Barcelona were also knocked out of the cup in Bilbao during the week.
Xavi Hernandez has been coaching the Blaugrana since November 2021.
