Coldplay compensate the planet with five million trees

In an attempt to reduce the negative impacts on the environment produced by the live concerts of their current tour, the band led by Chris Martin has designed a tour eco-friendly, “Music Of The Spheres”with which they intend to raise awareness about caring for the environment and demonstrate that you can enjoy live music without causing irreversible damage to the world.

With this tour they promised to plant a tree for every ticket sold, with the aim of reducing the negative impact of live shows. The Brits have recently released an update on their progress: around five million trees have been planted so far, and they have cut carbon emissions by 47 per cent from their previous tour.

In this way, Coldplay they become one of the artists who keep their word and carry out an important task to offset the emissions from their concerts and their trips around the planet.
