Comedian Murilo Couto said goodbye to the team of the talkshow “The night”, led by fellow comedian Danilo Gentili. There were approximately 13 years of partnership between him and the show’s presenter, including work both on Silvio Santos’ station and on Band’s Agora é Tarde program. Murilo’s last program aired in the early hours of this Friday (26).

In a post on Instagram, Murilo thanked the team he worked with all these years. “Today I just want to say thank you. There were 10 years of ‘The Noite’, on SBT, and three more of ‘Agora é Tarde’ on Band. Yesterday the last program aired with me officially in the cast. Just writing it makes me cry again”, he wrote about the attraction, which showed a tribute to him.

In the text, the comedian gave special thanks to Gentilli. “You are a true friend, a genius at work and an unbelievable partner outside of it. From the first pro test now it’s late until the last program on The Noite. What you did for me doesn’t exist. I love you, man”, he published.

In good humor despite the farewell, the presenter commented on the publication directly: “He’s fired”, he joked. Gentilli even published a photo of him with Murilo and the rest of the program’s team. “It was an honor to serve with you on this front,” he said.

In the comments, fans of the program lamented Murilo Couto’s departure. According to the website Na Telinha, the comedian should now dedicate himself to putting on his own shows, in addition to starting to produce more for his YouTube channel, which currently has 2.32 million followers.
