Coronavirus in the world, 3.5 million victims exceeded

3.52 million people have lost their lives to coronavirus-related complications around the world. Johns Hopkins University reports it, updating the number of confirmed deaths to 3,529,340. On the other hand, there are 169,708,687 infections confirmed in the world.

The United States is the country where the highest number of victims attributable to Covid-19 has been recorded, or 594,268, while the infected people are 33,249,494. India follows with 322,512 deaths and 27,729,247 cases and Brazil with 461,057 deaths and 16,471,600 cases. Brazil which recorded 2,371 deaths from Covid-19 and 49,768 infections in the last 24 hours. This was announced by the Council of Health Secretariats (Conass).

Belgium has started easing restrictions that have been in place for seven months, as the pace of vaccinations has accelerated and the number of infections and hospitalizations slowly decreases. After vaccinating medical staff, law enforcement and teachers, Venezuela opened vaccination to people over 60 on Saturday.
