Daimler Truck AG announces the first launch of its RIZON electric trucks in California, USA, with further deliveries expected in the coming weeks. The fully electric Class 4 and 5 trucks in the United States appeal to a diverse range of customers and highlight Daimler Truck’s commitment to sustainable transportation solutions.
Daimler Truck continues zero-emission transportation efforts in California with the deployment of 20 e18L RIZON trucks. Seven trucks, each equipped with a flatbed for LA Sanitation & Environment (LASAN), Goodwill Industries of San Diego County is also integrating an e18L RIZON box van, while Diamond Environmental is deploying four e18L RIZON trucks, and Ecorecycling is deploying three e18L RIZON trucks. Velocity Truck Rental and Leasing has received five RIZON e18L trucks available for immediate rental or leasing to operate in California.
RIZON trucks offer the most advanced solutions for urban and last mile deliveries, managing routes of up to 250 km per day, with customizable configurations and zero-emission certification. RIZON is certified as a zero-emission solution by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the California Air Resource Board (CARB).
