berita.depok.go.id – A heartbreaking tragedy befell a group of students and teachers at Lingga Kencana Vocational School, Rangkapan Jaya Baru Village, Pancoran Mas District who had just celebrated farewell in Bandung, West Java.
The tourist bus they were traveling in had an accident at the Ciater derivative, Subang on Saturday (11/05/24) evening.
The bus with the number plate AD 7524 DG carried teachers and students on a farewell trip to Bandung from May 10-11.
However, a tragic fate befell them when the bus rolled over, causing many passengers to suffer serious injuries and even fatalities.
From the video and photos received by the editorial staff of Berita.depok.go.id, it can be seen that a number of students suffered serious injuries and were covered in blood when they were evacuated near the accident site.
Head of Depok Metro Police Traffic Unit, Kompol Mutazam, led the victim evacuation process and helped coordinate efforts to handle this accident.
Further information regarding the cause and chronology of the accident is still being investigated by the authorities.
“Of course we will focus on helping. The one who knows the exact number is the Subang Police,” he told Berita.depok.go.id, Saturday (11/05/24).
Until this news was revealed, a number of students’ parents had started coming to the school.
