Kiper Dewa United Sonny Stevens managed to become a hero after scoring the 1-1 equalizer against PSIS Semarang.
The PSIS vs Dewa United match in the League 1 follow-up match at the Madya Magelang Stadium, Friday (23/2) ended with a score of 1-1.
PSIS managed to take a 1-0 lead in the 16th minute through a goal from Paulo Gali Freitas.

However, PSIS’ victory which was in sight had to be shattered because Dewa United scored a goal back in the 90+3 minute.
Incredibly, Dewa United scored a goal back through goalkeeper Sonny Stevens’ header.
In the 90+2 minute, Dewa United got a corner kick after Asep Berlian’s movement was blocked by Alfreandra Dewangga in the 92nd minute.
The corner kick was taken by Egy Maulana Vikri. Sonny Steven stepped up to help his team attack.
Sonny Steven managed to head Egy’s pass into a goal. Sonny Steven’s header went into the left corner of the PSIS goal.
Sonny Steven immediately celebrated the goal with his colleagues. Sonny Steven’s goal also managed to save his team from defeat with a final score of 1-1.
This draw made Dewa United rise from 11th position to ninth with 32 points from 25 matches.
Meanwhile, PSIS remains in second place in the League 1 standings with 43 points from the 25 matches played.
