Even before the fateful day, the party promises to be memorable. Diana Ross is celebrating her 80th birthday on March 26, 2024. Without saying too much, her son Evan Ross revealed the details of the upcoming celebration during an interview with PEOPLE lat the Chivas Regal Golden Hour Soiree which took place during New York Fashion Week and it’s shaping up to be epic!
“My mother’s 80th birthday is coming up. I’m not able to say where yet, but it will be something to remember”, says Evan, 35, to PEOPLE on how Diana plans to celebrate entering a new decade.
“What’s exciting is that I think she’s going to do everything she can to celebrate them in the best possible way.” commented the actor and musician during the event

Obviously, Diana Ross has slowed down her career as she prepares to enter her eighth decade. Yet last month, the Grammy winner was still announced as the new face of Saint Laurent for Anthony Vaccarello’s new campaign for the French brand’s spring 2024 collection. The campaign launched with black and white photos of David Sims, which show the singer wearing luxurious pieces that showcase her timeless beauty.
More than six decades into the “I’m Coming Out” singer’s career, Evan is more than happy to see his mother continue to flourish as an icon as Sims’ photos show for Saint Laurent.
“They are so beautiful and you also feel so wise. I think they will stay for life, it’s incredible.”
