Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Business entities providing fuel oil (BBM) in Indonesia have increased their fuel prices at gas stations as of March 1 2024. These include Shell Indonesia and BP-AKR gas stations, except gas stations owned by PT Pertamina (Persero).
For example, Shell Super 92 fuel, from the previous price of IDR 13,540 per liter, it has increased to IDR 14,530 per liter. Then, Shell V-Power with the same price increase or from IDR 14,380 per liter to IDR 15,360 per liter.
Then Shell V-Power Nitro+ fuel, the price of which goes from IDR 14,630 per liter to IDR 15,650 per liter. Meanwhile, Shell V-Power Diesel, from the previous IDR 15,270 per liter, has increased to IDR 16,140 per liter.

For BP-AKR, if BP-AKR raised all their fuel prices by IDR 200 per liter last February, now the increase ranges from IDR 590 to IDR 990 per liter.
Not only Shell, BP-AKR fuel prices have also changed. However, Pertamina did not change the price of non-subsidized fuel.
Corporate Secretary of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, Irto Ginting, stated that for the time being, there will be no change in the price of non-subsidized fuel today, March 1 2024. “So it is still the same as the previous non-subsidized fuel price or the price in February 2024,” said Irto to CNBC Indonesia, Friday (1/3/2024).
Irto said that his party would continue to review non-subsidized fuel prices, looking at trends in crude oil prices, MOPS and also the exchange rate. What is clear is that if there is no adjustment to non-subsidized fuel prices, while MOPS and exchange rates increase, this will of course correct the Company’s revenue potential. “We are also still coordinating with the Regional Government regarding the determination of PBBKB,” explained Irto.
