HATE AS A BEAUTY CURE

Fifth episode of the futuristic series created by Alessandro Bilotta

which features the journalist Alceste Santacroce

So, does the life lived or the life imagined matter more?

The imagined one, for me there is no doubt.

Alessandro Bilotta

New episode of the Eternity saga by Alessandro Bilotta. In HATE AS A BEAUTY CURE, Bilotta’s texts and Sergio Ponchione’s drawings return to tell the story of the tempestuous journalist Alceste Santacroce.

The dream of cinema is lived with open eyes in a city that is the largest stage in the world. Many stars in Rome walk among ordinary mortals, but one in particular shines brighter than the others, an example of beauty and virtue. No one could question its value, or almost anything. The divine Minerva Monet is one of the greatest interpreters of all time, a national heritage. Her fans have created a real cult of her, cinephiles venerate her and women want to look like her. Is it possible that the only one who has something to say about her is that worldly reporter who many look at with suspicion? That Alceste Santacroce allows himself to doubt the actress’s mirrored virtues and, what’s worse, she might be right. It is not easy to become the greatest Italian diva, you need an innate charm, great acting skills and a lot of hatred and desire for destruction.

The introduction of the volume is signed by Alessandro Bilotta himself. The cover is by Sergio Gerasi.
