A lead is “not completely closed” by investigators concerning the disappearance of little Emile. It leads to two Bulgarian workers who were working near the child the day he disappeared.
Little Emile’s affair has not yet revealed all its secrets. Investigators assure in particular that a lead concerning two Bulgarian workers “is not completely closed”, reveals BFMTV.
On July 6, the day the boy disappeared, they were participating in masonry work in a house located 200 m from those of the grandparents in the village of Haut-Vernet, where the child was looked after, in the Alps. -de-Haute-Provence.
No “evidence”
The gendarmes destroyed a concrete slab in September which had been laid during the work. During the passage of a sonar, an anomaly was detected, but ultimately it was only a layer of placo which concealed “nothing notable”.
Although the Bulgarian workers were the subject of investigations, they were not taken into custody and no “probative evidence” was discovered at this stage. “This is one avenue among many others, we are continuing to raise doubts,” adds a BFMTV source close to the investigation.
According to her, 20 investigators continue to work full time on this disappearance.
