Dieter Bohlen celebrated his 70th birthday this week. On the occasion of his special day, there were also a few surprises in the “Supertalent” episode on Saturday.
Some of them were planned as such. Others emerged quite naturally – but one after the other.
The first birthday surprise walked onto the stage in the form of singer Nick Ferretti. As a reminder: The 34-year-old won “Das Supertalent” in 2020. In 2019 he came second in “Germany is looking for the superstar”. In short: Bohlen and Ferretti are very familiar.

Ferretti’s surprise: He performed Phil Collins’ song “Against all Odds” for Bohlen. The special: As a deepfake, not Ferretti’s, but Bohlen’s likeness was projected onto a large screen.
So it looked as if the pop titan himself was suddenly singing with Goldkehlchen on the “Supertalent” stage. “If I could sing like that…” Bohlen enthused after the birthday performance with moist eyes. His jury colleague Bruce Darnell enthusiastically commented: “This voice is world class!”
Before Ferretti went on his way again, Bohlen reminded him of a deal they had made the last time they met:
“When I get married, you’ll be my singer.”

Fart “artist” messes up birthday cake
With Ferretti’s departure, the series of neat birthday surprises was over.
For the two who should follow, the level went into a declinewhere the oxygen masks would dangle from the ceiling on every holiday plane.

One of the people to blame for this was the Japanese Ichikawa Koikuchi, whose self-proclaimed talent was to fart into a tube so that an arrow shot out of it or a horn sounded.
But because it was his birthday, the Japanese not only brought a horn and arrow, but also a cake with candles, which he naturally farted out. Bohlen commented with amusement:
“Glad he farted on my birthday cake.”
“Supertalent” jury is divided
However, the real surprise only came after the bizarre performance. Because: The man received a “yes” from both Bruce Darnell and jury colleague Ekaterina Leonova. You read that right! Leonova simply explains it this way: “I find it extraordinary. I can’t do it.”
The audience resolved the jury’s stalemate by sending the flatulence sufferer home with a show of hands. Von Bohlen’s birthday cake, which he generously offered, wanted – surprise! – no one eats anything.
“Mr. Belly Roll” jumps out of the giant present
The level finally sank a little lower when a large gift appeared on the stage. Conveniently, it opened itself straight away. But that was the end of the amenities.
“Oh no!” Bohlen shouted as 70-year-old Stefan Chone slipped out of the box. The chief juror even briefly fled into the audience.
Chone is no stranger to “Supertalent” and is better known as “Mr. Belly Roll”. Every year he is scantily dressed during his performances and likes to wear women’s underwear.

On the occasion of Bohlen’s 70th birthday, the man from Braunschweig slipped into a white dress to present himself as Marilyn Monroe. He sang “Happy Birthday”.
The jury acknowledged the performance with four buzzers. Perhaps as revenge, Chone then pulled up his skirt to reveal his scanty underwear. And planks? He commented mercilessly:
“You’re the ugliest Marilyn Monroe copy I’ve ever seen.”
Anna Ermakova hits the gold buzzer
In contrast, the twelve Italians from the Black Widow dance troupe were a real feast for the eyes. In black dresses and with long golden claws, they put on a performance that was somewhat reminiscent of synchronized swimming on dry land.

This impressed the jury so much that all four stood up to applaud. Anna Ermakova went even further: she walked onto the stage and pressed the golden buzzer. This means that the last direct ticket to the final has now been awarded.
13-year-old divides opinion on RTL
The opinion of the jury and spectators was less uniform when it came to a 13-year-old. The student Charlotte galloped across the stage like a horse using two mini crutches and jumped over several hurdles.

While the jury seemed to be struggling to keep from laughing, X (formerly Twitter) didn’t hold back with jokes:
Bohlen wanted to know from the 13-year-old what her friends thought of this special hobby. “Some people find it strange,” she explained. But most people think it’s cool and have already tried it out themselves, the student added.
In fact, she got three “yeses” for her unusual performance. Only chief juror Bohlen turned out to be an insurmountable hurdle. He explained in a friendly but firm manner: “I thought it was really great and I’ve never seen it before, but that’s not super talent.”
Beatrice Egli’s new single “Du, Du, Du” was only released in January, and on February 10th she was seen in the quiz show “Frag Doch mal die Maus” on ARD – and also on social media Channels of the former “DSDS” winner are by no means quiet.
