After last October the guitarist of the legendary The Smashing Pumpkins, Jeff Schroeder, who joined in 2007, announced his separation from the group to explore new paths, the band has been left with an open guitarist vacancy. That is why through their social networks they have announced a call to fill that gap.
The legendary group has shared a post on Instagram saying: “The Smashing Pumpkins are looking for an additional guitarist. The application for the process is open to anyone who may be interested,” followed by an email to upload the necessary materials and information.
The news has excited fans, as any fan could fill the position in the band. It is undoubtedly a great opportunity for every musician and fan of The Smashing Pumpkins, since they could be members of one of the most inspiring bands in alternative rock.
With this call The Smashing Pumpkins open the doors to a new era, as they will open different cities in Europe and the United States on their next tour, which will last from June to September of this year, with a new guitarist.
