Manchester United were held by Brentford 1-1 in the match in Week 30 of the Premier League at the Gtech Community Stadium, Sunday (31/3) early morning WIB.

Man United created a chance through Bruno Fernandes’ kick which went wide of the opponent’s goal at the start of the game. But after that they continued to be under pressure from Brentford.

In the 24th minute, Ivan Toney almost broke into the MU goal guarded by Andre Onana if his right foot shot did not hit the left goal post.

Onana made a save by denying Brentford a chance with Lewis-Potter’s shot in the 43rd minute.

Rasmus Hojlund had a good chance to score in the 54th minute after receiving Fernandes’ pass. But the execution was well thwarted by Mark Flekken.

Onana made two important saves in the 56th minute. Yehor Yarmoliuk’s right-footed shot to the left side of the goal was blocked by Onana. Lewis-Potter grabbed the rebound with a left foot kick, but Onana blocked it again.

Another threat from Brentford came again through Toney in the 65th minute. Toney received Mathias Jensen’s cross. The English striker then fired a left-footed volley, but it still flew over the MU goal.

Ivan Toney was able to break into MU’s goal in the 72nd minute after receiving Brian Mbeumo’s through ball. However, the goal was disallowed because Toney was offside first.

MU continues to be under attack by Brentford. Mbeumo’s volley in the 78th minute hit the Red Devils’ crossbar.

Even though Brentford continued to be under pressure, Man United managed to break the deadlock through Mason Mount’s goal in the injury time minute.

Mount broke into Brentford’s goal after receiving Casemiro’s assist. After receiving the ball from Casemiro, Mount fired a left-footed shot from inside the penalty box into the bottom right corner of Flekken’s goal in the 90+5 minute.

Brentford immediately reacted after conceding in the final minutes. Toney’s pass from the right side was completed well by Kristoffer Ajer who took advantage of the MU defense being careless in the 90+8 minute. The Brentford vs MU duel ended in a 1-1 draw.
