At 7 a.m. she was on the district road from Fürstenstein towards Eging. Below the castle stables, for an unknown reason, she veered off the road to the right, the Tittling police said, “continued across a meadow to the adjacent woods about 100 meters away, fell a 15-meter-high fir tree there, and finally got caught on a massive one tree stump and came to a halt.” She suffered various injuries and had to be taken to the hospital.
Her car, a VW Arteon, was totaled for at least 30,000 euros. The third-party damage has yet to be determined, according to the statement.
