Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan paid a visit to the capital Ankara, after casting his vote in Istanbul earlier today this electoral session on Sunday 14 May.
While in line to vote, the AKP leader donated money to the children. It is customary, in fact, for the elderly to give “pocket money” to children during religious holidays. Erdogan usually makes this gesture in every public outing but this time – in the midst of a crucial election and with open polling stations – his “tips” have aroused astonishment.
