Actress Eliza Ikeda (27) appeared as a guest on NHK’s “Tsuchi Star” (1:50 after Saturday) on the 17th. Regarding her musical activities, she said:

Influenced by his mother, who was active in music, Ikeda loved to sing, and says, “I used to sing a lot since I was little.” She revealed that she was hesitant to pursue singing, which she loved, as a career because she was worried, “How will I live if he doesn’t like singing anymore?”

One day, Lily Franky, an actor who was the MC of the station’s “The Covers,” advised her, “Why don’t you try singing on Covers and think about it? Covers would be great.” I thought I might be able to have a positive influence, even if just a little bit,” he said, explaining why he started his career as a singer.

“If it wasn’t for Lily, I wouldn’t have been able to pursue my career as a singer because I was too scared,” he said, expressing his gratitude to his “benefactor” who gave him the opportunity to take on the challenge.

Ikeda is active in music as ELAIZA, and will hold a birthday live in Shibuya, Tokyo on April 13th.
