Philadelphia is about to be eliminated from the playoffs, because the New York Knicks beat it on Sunday 97:92 and took a 3:1 lead in the first round of the Eastern Conference. The incredible Jaylen Branson scored as many as 47 points for the home team in Madison Square Garden, which is his career record, and the current MVP of the NBA League, Joel Embiid, once again showed his dark side.
He played injured, because in the first half it was obvious that the Sixers couldn’t do without him, and even though he scored 27 points, he still marked the match with unsportsmanlike moves. At one point, he stepped on an opponent on the floor and it doesn’t seem like it was accidental… Look how he stepped on Josh Hart’s wrist with his 127 kilograms.
Also, the new USA national team member with a French passport, born in Cameroon, did not miss to “taste” and inspired Branson. As Knicks fans chanted “MVP, MVP” at their pet, the reigning MVP hit him in a way that must have hurt. And this is a coincidence?
