Emilie Nereng fires after the Farm celebrity – causing Unni Askeland to fight back: “I felt cowed”

ATTENTION! The article may contain spoilers from Wednesday’s program of “Farmen kendis”.

Already at the age of 14, Emilie “Voe” Nereng (28) was a well-known figure in Norway.

In 2009, she created the blog “Voe”, and quickly became one of Norway’s biggest bloggers. But in 2017 she left the blog behind, and in 2019 she completed a bachelor’s degree in nutrition.

Since then, she has been very successful as a food influencer on Instagram, and also has her own podcast about food and nutrition, «Foodies».

She has also participated in several reality programs on TV such as “Bloggers”, “Shall we dance” and “Kompani Lauritzen”.

Emilie Nereng: – Ungrateful comments

This year’s season is no exception when it comes to scandals. Because halfway into “The Farm”, several participants have withdrawn and several participants ended up in a clinch with each other.

Emilie Nereng (28) has also felt bad feelings, she now reveals.

As both Unni Askeland (61) and Anne-Kat. Härland (51) quickly found his way into the kitchen inside the farm, the 28-year-old could not find his own place.

As a food influencer, Nereng finds great security in the kitchen, she explains. But that role had to give way to Askeland and Hærland.

It was clear that the ladies did not want her help in there, she herself believes.

– If I first cooked, there were always complaints. That I messed up the system or something like that, even though I knew that system didn’t really exist. I knew I hadn’t messed it up there either, so there were some ungrateful comments like that, Nereng tells TV 2.

Cry a lot

Nereng believes she withdrew as a result of it all. It must have made her very sad inside the farm.

The 28-year-old says that for that reason she walked a lot by herself and cried.

– When I noticed that I felt cowed by strong personalities, and couldn’t do anything about it, it wasn’t a good feeling. I felt weak.

Askeland tells the channel that she does not understand the criticism from Nereng.

– We didn’t need more cooks in the kitchen. The more cooks, the more mess. Food flu or not, it doesn’t really matter. I am a mother, grandmother and grandmother, and have been in the kitchen for 40 years. I have learned to cook traditional food. And in there I thought it was needed, she explains.
