Erling Braut Haaland cashes out

The Mercedes-AMG ONE will only be built in 275 copies and is one of the world‘s most expensive (and fastest) new cars.

Today’s business was first out with the news that footballer Erling Braut Haaland is shelling out for one copy – together with financier and car collector Ole Ertvaag.

The extreme hypercar, which is equipped with a Formula 1 engine, costs from around NOK 28 million, before taxes.

According to DN must Braut Haaland and Ertvaag pay at least NOK 36 million for the car.

Broom has been confirmed by reliable sources that Haaland and Ertvaag have bought the car together. However, the car must not be registered on Norwegian plates, but used abroad.

Prestige

AMG ONE has truly been a prestige project at Mercedes. The goal has been to build a car that should be experienced as close as possible to a real Formula 1 car.

It has cost Mercedes its shirt, and after several delays, deliveries of the crazy car are now underway.

We get straight to the point: The hybrid powertrain comes directly from Formula 1.

It consists of a turbocharged 1.6-litre V6 petrol engine and a total of four electric motors. One is integrated into the turbocharger, one is installed directly on the internal combustion engine and the remaining two drive the front wheels.

Total output is an insane 1,063 hp

SPEED MONSTER: We haven’t seen many in blue yet. The AMG ONE is a plug-in hybrid, purely for the sake of performance. The Formula 1 powertrain delivers over 1,000 horsepower.

0-300 km/h in 15 seconds

With well over 1,000 hp and an extremely efficient powertrain, it really doesn’t say anything about performance.

The classic sprint from 0-100 km/h is almost a joke for this car, as it feels like walking speed. But regardless: 0-100 km/h goes away in 2.9 seconds.

More impressive is that 0-200 and 0-300 km/h are clocked in 7 and 15.6 seconds respectively.

Top speed is 352 km/h.

DELAYED: Since the unveiling in 2017, AMG has faced a couple of challenges, including related to emissions requirements and sound measurements. The car has been delayed for a long time, but now customer deliveries are underway.

First test: One of the world‘s fastest family cars is in Norway:
