Falco Villa in Gars is to be opened to visitors

18.04.2024

In 1987, pop star Falco bought the tranquil property in Gars am Kamp in the Waldviertel, the second home served not least as his “bourgeois” retreat. The Art Nouveau house in the Horn district, which was lived in by his mother Maria Hölzel for years after Falco’s death in 1998, now belongs to the Falco Private Foundation and hasn’t been used for a long time. That should change now:

Falcos Villa is scheduled to open for regular tours as well as “events, presentations and celebrations” from mid/late May. An exact opening date has not yet been set. At the beginning of April, the project was still “work in progress”, but the restoration work is in full swing, as Falco intimate Ronald Seunig, chairman of the Falco Private Foundation, shows fans on social media.
